Spanish Language Association

The Spanish Language Association celebrates and promotes the use of Spanish on the Cal Poly Pomona campus and throughout the community through cultural, social and community-service activities, scholarships, participation in campus festivals, tutoring, and other activities. The Association encourages Spanish-speaking and non-Spanish- speaking students alike to acknowledge the strength of the Spanish language as an ideal medium of comradeship, culture, inquiry, politics, and all other branches of human activity. The association promotes diversity on campus, encouraging its Latino members to embrace their linguistic heritage. If you are interested in becoming a member, call the department's main number for meeting times and contact information.
