John T. Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies
The Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies offers undergraduate and graduate courses in Regenerative Studies. The undergraduate minor consists of a range of courses that focus on current and continuing economic, social and environmental topics. The Master of Science program in Regenerative Studies (MSRS) is a unique interdisciplinary program that prepares students to find successful solutions to interlinked social, economic and environmental problems in the 21st century. While a number of institutions offer environmental studies or environmental science programs, Cal Poly Pomona is the only institution to offer a program specifically in regenerative studies. Regenerative Studies explores the means of supporting human communities within the limits of available resources, and without degrading the environment. Lin Wu and Terence Young from the Department of Geography & Anthropology currently teach in the MSRS program and several graduates from the department have entered and graduated from the program.Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
