The College of Professional and Global Education is proud to offer a series of summer residential programs specifically designed to meet the academic needs of migrant students. Working directly with input from Migrant Education Regional Directors and school district administrators, customized curriculum is developed to ensure that each summer program complements the standards-based learning that students participate in throughout the school year.

Our Migrant Education Summer Program focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).  Age and grade-appropriate curriculum and activities are available for students in grades 6^th-8^th (middle school) and 9^th-12^th (high school).

The following courses are being offered in Summer 2022:

• Create Your Own Virtual Reality
• Coding with Minecraft
• Coding with the Finch Robot

Each of our programs consists of integrated math and ELA instruction combined with project-based instruction in engineering, computer science, design and coding, animation or robotics.

Each summer residential program also includes extended learning opportunities, which may include participation in the Disney Youth Education Series, a field trip to the California Science Center, or another exciting location!

Participants in our residential camps not only gain new academic skills and knowledge they meet new friends and enjoy recreational and social activities such as swimming, basketball, soccer, movie night, a visit to our BioTrek Rain Forest Learning Center and more!
