Overview
Bronco Access Mentor aka BAM
Mission: It is our mission to provide a supportive environment for Cal Poly Pomona students with disabilities by using campus resources for student success, engagement, and retention.
Vision: It is our vision to equip DRC students with the appropriate skills for their academic success. Examples of these skills include, but are not limited to time management, studying and notetaking skills, advising support, and self-regulation skills.

Social Success Mentoring Series - Spring 2026
The Social Success Mentoring Series is back! Students will learn the essential skills to build and maintain meaningful connections through a five-week workshop. The application process begins on January 30th and closes on February 9th at 11:59pm. The workshop dates are listed below. If you are interested, please complete the application form before the closing date and then await contact from the DRC. Space is limited.
Learn ways to:
- Trade information and start conversations
- Trade information and maintain conversations
- Find a source of friends
- Navigate electronic communication
- Enter group conversations
Time Commitment:
- Workshop dates are Wednesdays: February 18, March 4 & 18, April 8 & 22
- Fridays from 12:30-2:00 pm
Students must comment to attending all session dates above for the full 1.5 hour workshop
