Covid-19 Vaccination Requirement

Following the California State University (CSU) system’s COVID-19 Vaccination requirement, Cal Poly Pomona requires all students and non-represented employees (MPP's, confidential staff, and student employees) to upload their vaccination record into MyHealthPortal or request a medical or religious exemption.

Booster Requirement: All employees and students must be fully vaccinated, which means getting two Pfizer or Moderna shots and a booster dose in six months OR getting one Johnson & Johnson shot and a booster dose in two months, according to the CSU interim policy

Public Health Testing for COVID-19

Beginning August 16th 2021, the following students will be required to participate in weekly testing:

  • Students who are not fully vaccinated
  • Students whose vaccination record is not verified
  • Students who have received a medical or religious vaccination exemption

If you aren’t vaccinated, we urge you to visit MyTurn to find a walk-in location or make an appointment. Vaccines are widely available throughout the region, and they are the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones, and our campus community.

Cal Poly Pomona Student Health Services is an essential campus service and will remain open during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm).

Students with in-person appointments must wear a mask and fill out the Student Health Screener prior to physicially coming to campus (must complete it on the day of your visit).

Students MUST CALL 909-869-4000 to make an appointment at Student Health Services. If refills are needed for medications, please call 909-869-4000 and health staff will assist with processing refills. Please note that as a safety precaution any visitors accompanying you to your visit will be asked to wait outside.

Student Health Services is currently providing COVID-19 testing to enrolled students who meet the criteria. Please call us to schedule an appointment.

The Bronco Wellness Center is conducting all services virtually. We have one-on-one appointments, Wellness Workshops, virtual programs by request, live yoga/meditation sessions, and a weekly newsletter with lots of information and resources. Get all the info on our page.
