Yes — Cal Poly Pomona is a public university, and as such, is required to follow federal laws pertaining to immigration enforcement.

What should I do if I see federal immigration activity occurring on campus?

Contact Jason Rodriguez, our campus designee, immediately by calling (909) 869-3019. If Jason is not available, contact the University Police Department (UPD) at (909) 869-3061.

What should I do if I'm approached by a federal immigration officer on campus?

Tell the agent that you are not authorized to grant access and you must contact the university designated point of contact. 

Collect the agent’s name, badge number, and agency affiliation. Contact Jason Rodriguez immediately by calling (909) 869-3019. If Jason is not available, contact UPD by calling (909) 869-3061.
