Bronco Family Space

As the heart of the campus community and a place on inspiration, discovery, creativity and collaboration, the University Library is excited to introduce our Bronco Family Space, located on the 3rd floor of the Library. The Bronco Family Space is designed for students, faculty, and staff who need to use library services while caring for a younger family member. The Library is proud to support parenting students, and all family caregivers who need a family-friendly campus space. The overall goal of our Bronco Family Space is to provide a family friendly environment and space for the families in our campus community.

Bronco Familiy Space

Our specially designed space features interactive materials for children and caregivers including board and picture books, age-appropriate toys, puzzles, dramatic play items, and blocks providing a rich space for children to explore. In addition, changing tables are available in the men's and women's restrooms next to the Bronco Family Space.

Children's and Young Adult Collection

Our ever-growing Children's and Young Adult Collection provides diversity and representation in Children's Literature. Children need to be able to see themselves in our children's and young adult collection and we are working hard to build a collection that highlights the identity of different communities. We are developing a collection with a wide range of children's literature from board books to a young adult collection. We strive to make our collection appeal to all age groups as well as a collection that meets the needs of evolving curriculum in K-12 programs.
