Special Collections

Cal Poly Pomona Special Collections and Archives preserves and provides access to distinctive collections that support teaching, research, and discovery across the university and broader community. Its principal collecting areas include the University Archives, which documents the history and development of Cal Poly Pomona; the Pomona Valley Historical Collection, which preserves the history of the region and its communities; the Southern California Wine and Wine Industry Collection, which explores the area’s viticultural heritage; the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Library, which chronicles the history and legacy of Arabian horses; and the General Rare Book Collection, which contains specialized and historically significant published materials.
