Pause in Operations for the Office of Conflict Resolution Services and Ombuds
April 14, 2026
Dear Campus Community,
I write to share that the Office of Conflict Resolution Services and Ombuds has paused operations.
While the pause in operations occurred earlier this spring, I have been in active dialogue with the Academic Senate, Deans, and others, and I am continuing to gather insights from our community to inform our next steps.
I want to take a moment to recognize the thoughtful and dedicated work our campus has invested in alignment with our Principles of Community to design a resource to support problem-solving, conflict engagement, and skill-building. This process has reflected our collective commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all.
Please know that Cal Poly Pomona remains deeply committed to helping every member of our community successfully navigate the inevitable challenges that arise in our living, learning and working environments.
In the meantime, the resources listed below are available to support you. We encourage you to make use of these offerings as we continue to enhance our approach.
