The Maker Studio

What We Do
The Maker Studio is a Maker Space—a location dedicated to creativity and creation where people gather to share ideas and to make a variety of products based on their interests. At the Maker Studio, we provide you with the resources and tools necessary to build your projects and bring your ideas to life, whether it be for classes or your own personal use.

Who We Are
The Maker Studio is a collaboration between the University Library, the Office of Academic Innovation, and faculty members across the university. Funding for the Maker Studio was secured through grants, and its ongoing maintenance is supported by the Library and Academic Innovation.
We were created for all students, regardless of major. All the machines and technology we have is free to use, but students are required to pass safety training. We provide limited support for materials; to see what we have and what you can use, stop by during our operating hours or get involved as an ambassador.
