Election Information and Support
Important Dates: 2026 Primary Election (June 2, 2026)
- April 23 - May 12: The California Secretary of State will mail the Voter Information Guide during this period.
- May 4: Counties will begin mailing each registered voter their vote-by-mail ballot. Early Voting sites open.
- May 18: Last day to register to vote ahead of the Primary Election.
- May 19 - June 2: Same Day Voter Registration is available. Voters can “conditionally” register and vote at a county elections office or polling location after the voter registration deadline, up to and including Election Day.
- June 2: Election Day - polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
