Duties: We are looking for a bright and creative individual with interest and knowledge in food to help create an original recipe for food product and nutritional facts according to federal and state regulations.

Skills Required: Ability to work with edible ingredients to create a taste profile while complying with FDA and state regulations. Also, must be able to create laboratory bench-top formulas and generate nutritional fact labels. Must be creative and willing to experiment with different ingredients.

U.S. Forest Service

Internship Start Date: Summer 2019

Duties: The U.S. Forest Service is partnering with Cal State University San Bernardino's Water Resource Institute Internship Program. The forest service is looking for interns to work in forest service projects in the 18 national forests statewide. Students will participate in real-world scientific research projects or watershed management activities within the national forests.

Skills Required: Must be a full-time student at one of the 23 CSU campuses or 113 California community colleges and be enrolled for Fall 2019, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a minimum 3.0 grade point average, and an interest in working for the USDA. Although all majors may apply, the forest service is targeting students in botany, civil engineering, ecology, fisheries biology, wildlife biology, general biology, geography, geology, recreation, hydrology, and landscape architecture.
