Supplemental Academic Advising
Academic advising is an important part of your university career that can positively impact your progress toward degree completion. It is far more than simply planning a schedule each semester. It is the shared partnership between you and your advisor.
Our goal is to serve as the guiding link between your educational pursuits and the University's expectations, academic rigor, and campus life as you transition to and through the university. Advising sessions are highly individualized based on your needs. You must have been accepted into the ARCHES program to receive services.
Drop-In Advising for Priority Registration (Fall 2024)
WHAT: Drop-in advising is for quick questions. No sign up needed, just log in and wait (first-come, first-served basis - ARCHES students only )
WHEN: Monday, 4/8 & Tuesday, 4/9 from 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm

ARCHES Academic Advising
- All Advising appointments should be scheduled through CPP Connect.
- Click on "Get Assistance", then select "Advising" and "ARCHES Advising"
- Appointments must be scheduled with your assigned advisor, if you are unsure who that is please contact the ARCHES Front Desk (909-869-2386).
- Appointments can be scheduled 4 weeks in advance.
- If there are no appointments you will not see any timeslots available. Keep checking throughout the week to see if anyone cancels their appointment or call the ARCHES front desk.
- Appointments must be set up 24 hours in advance, no same day appointments.
- Drop in advising is available during Priority Registration.

- Come prepared with a list of question or concerns you would like to discuss with your advisor.
Note: Students who do not meet with an advisor will have a hold placed on their account in Bronco Direct for the following semester.
As part of the participant agreement, ARCHES participants are required to complete a Mid Term Progress Report and return it to the ARCHES office each semester. The Progress Report form is available on-line (below) and also in the ARCHES office beginning the 7th week of instruction during the Fall and Spring semesters. Progress Reports are due back to ARCHES no later than the 9th week of instruction.

Step one: Email your professor and request they complete the MTPR form (DUE: Week 9). Below is suggested text you can send them:

Step two: Once your professor submits the MTPR, a copy will be shared with you. ARCHES will also receive a copy of it and will follow up with you if necessary.

About Me: Hello, I am the Learning Specialist for ARCHES and I’m an academic advisor. When I was a student at CPP, I was part of the ARCHES program, Disability Resource Center and PsiChi. I have experiences working with students with disabilities and helping them gain experiences to transition to work and college. I love watching movies and spending time with family and friends. Also, I’m eager and excited to guide students in the same way while I was at school.
