The faculty, staff, and students in Physics and Astronomy grieve the loss of our treasured colleague and friend, Professor Héctor C. Mireles. Dr. Mireles served as a member of the faculty of Physics and Astronomy for twenty years, including as Department Chair since 2016. He passed away on September 16, 2022.
