The Learning Support Council (LSC)

Several learning assistance programs in both Academic and Student Affairs, have formed a council to collaborate in the areas of tutor training, technology and assessment, to promote and advance the campus’ academic support services to address the various learning needs of our diverse student body, thereby enhancing the value of their education/learning.

To that end, the University and the Learning Support Council are committed in providing academic support services to address the various learning needs of our diverse student body.

The LRC's mission is to promote student success through: Tutoring, Workshops, Test Preparation, and Study Skills development.


The LRC's programs are Bronco Tutoring, Reading, Advising, & Mentoring Program (RAMP), and University Writing Center (UWC).

SSEP is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of non-traditional and undeclared students through a broad range of high quality programs and services that promote access and equity, transition, and educational opportunities in support of student learning and success.
