Students Share About Their Cal Poly Pomona Experience

Every spring, the Huntley College of Agriculture holds its annual Farm to Table Spring Harvest Dinner. Local chefs prepare a meal using Cal Poly Pomona-grown produce. During the meal, the college presents the Jim Hicks Agricultural Achievement Award to an honoree who has made a significant contribution to the industry. In addition, five students – one from each department in the college – speak about what they’ve learned from their Cal Poly Pomona experiences and what their hopes and dreams are for the future.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of most – if not all – university events this spring. However, the college decided to honor the students who were chosen to speak by sharing their thoughts here.
