The 2019 Farm to Table Dinner included a signature herb and frua citrus-infused cocktail, and beer and wine from Cal Poly Pomona's own Innovation Brew Works and Horsehill Vineyards, respectively.
UPDATE: The Farm to Table Spring Harvest Dinner scheduled for April 25 is CANCELED. Due to rising concerns with COVID-19, Cal Poly Pomona is following the recommendations of the California Department of Public Health by canceling all events and gatherings with more than 100 participants.
The generosity of this event helps the university educate students with our proven learn-by-doing approach, which prepares them to make an immediate impact in the ever-changing workplace. The dinner also features the presentation of the Jim Hicks Agricultural Achievement Award to an individual for his or her accomplishments in the agricultural industry. The award is named after Jim Hicks, a longtime supporter of agricultural education and the inaugural recipient of the award.
Tim Luberski, president of Hidden Villa Ranch in Fullerton, is the 2020 award recipient.
