Career Track Advising
The CIS Department has established three career tracks in the major. Every CIS major must select one of these career tracks. To graduate with a major in CIS, students complete the track recommended and elective courses. Students can take classes from different tracks. Consultation on track selection is available through the following career track coordinators or the Department Chair.

General Academic Advising
The Student Success Center (SSC) in Building 164, Room 1060, helps all CBA majors by: (1) providing general academic information, (2) assisting in the completion/processing of various university forms (e.g., general academic petitions, drop petitions), and (3) maintaining a supply of most university petitions and forms.
