Zane Landin Awarded $1,000 PRSA-LA Scholarship

Zane Landin, a communication studies senior, was awarded the Public Relations Society of America, Los Angeles Chapter Scholarship of $1,000. Zane will be recognized at the PRISM Awards on Thursday, October 21 at the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica.

Zane is currently the President of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). He previously served as the Vice President of Career Services on PRSSA’s National Committee. He is serving on the National PRSA Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He is a student representative of the Hispanic Public Relations Society, Los Angeles Chapter. He is currently interning at several different organizations including NASA – Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Universe Public Engagement Intern, the United States Agency for International Development as a Policy Analysis and Communications Intern specifically for Disability Policy, and with Plants 4 the People as a Content Creation Intern. He is a huge disability and mental health advocate. His dream is to combine his passions for disability, accessibility, communications, and marketing. Microsoft is currently leading efforts in that space, and Zane wants to be there.
