Kellogg Honors College Transfer Application
Welcome to the Fall 2025 Kellogg Honors College (KHC) transfer application. Before submitting this application, you must apply to Cal Poly Pomona by December 2, 2024. Transfer students must apply before the start of their first semester at CPP in order to complete KHC requirements by graduation. Currently attending CPP transfer students cannot apply. The KHC application consists of a cover letter, essay, and a resume. The application is available December 15, 2024 to March 16, 2025.

The Kellogg Honors College considers several factors in its admission process. 1.) You must be admitted to Cal Poly Pomona. 2.) You should meet the reading, writing, and math requirements set by your academic major 3.) There is no minimum GPA requirement to apply, but a 3.30 (B+ average) GPA is required to maintain good standing once admitted. 4.) An application consisting of a Cover letter, Essay, and Resume will be evaluated holistically by Cal Poly Pomona faculty.
You will receive an email containing your nine-digit Bronco ID number, upon submitting an application to Cal Poly Pomona (explained here). The ID number typically starts with 01 (01XXXXXXX). Please ensure accuracy when inputting the ID number on the application website. Inputting an incorrect number will significantly delay processing of your application.
Scholarships for Kellogg Honors College students are available through the Cal Poly Pomona Bronco Scholarship Application. Visit the Cal Poly Pomona Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for more information.
The admissions processes for Cal Poly Pomona and the KHC are separate. Admission to the KHC does not increase students' admission chances to Cal Poly Pomona.
