Veteran and Military Freshmen Orientation
You are required to attend a mandatory freshmen orientation program before to enrolling Cal Poly Pomona. This two-day, one-night program includes important campus presentations, academic advising, and registration.
In partnership with the Veterans Resource Center, Orientation Services is hosting a separate lunch session at every transfer program for all Veteran students or dependents.
If your military service or training makes it challenging for you to attend the on-campus program, please contact Orientation Services at (909) 869-3604 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to assist you.

Once you have paid your Enrollment Confirmation Deposit, register for your orientation session and pay your fees. The orientation fee will cover meals, academic advising and course registration, parking, new student materials, and activities with new/current students.
Register as early as possible to reserve the session that best meets your needs.
- At your on-campus Orientation, attend the "Taking Care of Business" lunch component. Veterans Resource Center (VRC) staff members will be readily available to answer any questions and review your Veterans benefits/package.
