Student Assistant – Safety Escort Service
What You Need To know About Safety Escorts
The safety escort service is available from your class to a safe campus destination such as to your vehicle parked on campus, Residential Hall/ Suite, or the University Village. Safety escort services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including weekends, holidays and breaks.
If there are a group of people requesting an escort, they may be advised that there will be a wait, and their options are riding the Bronco Express, or walking together as a group.
*Safety escorts are provided on a first come, first serve basis. Please allow for some time for one of our student assistants or officers to arrive to your location.
In order to properly identify who is calling for a safety escort, please give us a brief description of yourself.
You can provide us with the following information:
- Your name
- Clothing Description
- Color of shirt, pants, and shoes.
It is important for us to know where you are on campus and where you intend to go so we can ensure that we arrive to you promptly and can take the best route to your destination.
Please provide us with the following information:
- Your starting location.
- If in front of a building, please provide us with the building number and/or cross streets.
- If you are in a parking lot, please give us the assigned parking lot letter and pole number. Pole numbers are posted on various light poles throughout each parking lot. If you are not directly near one, please give us the number of the closest one to you.
- Your ending destination.
- Provide us with the building number, parking lot, or any other location on campus where you intend to travel to.
