Cascade CMS & Web Accessibility
Cascade Content Management System (CMS)
Cascade is the university's free Content Management System (CMS) that allows you to easily build and maintain your website. Features include: login and access management, training sessions, and support requests for website updates.

Canvas LMS & Accessible Instructional Material
The Cal Poly Pomona Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence (CAFE) actively supports faculty, tenure-line, and lecturer faculty, in all stages and facets of their career at Cal Poly Pomona. Thy provide orientation for new faculty, pedagogical resources, collaborative opportunities, confidential consultation and assist with developing accessible instructional materials.

Accessible Documents Training: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat PDFs
WebAIM Document Training Course
The WebAIM Document Training course is available to all Cal State University employees and provides the core fundamentals for creating accessible Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents, as well as some best practices for PDF documents. An optional Excel module is also available.
Brief Overview of the Course:
- The course is fully online and consists of four self-paced modules. Each module has a series of sections that includes quizzes and concludes with an open book exam.
- Expect to dedicate 2 to 4 hours per module. Upon course registration, participants will have 180 business days (excluding holidays) to complete all modules.
- After finishing the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
