Our goal is to provide you with the very best education in apparel business and technology as it relates to the development, production, and retailing of fashion and other apparel products.
We are the only program on the West Coast accredited by the Textiles and Apparel Programs Accreditation Commission, and one of only nine nationwide.
Why Choose AMM?
You will have a comprehensive curriculum at Cal Poly Pomona, with courses covering design, textiles, fashion entrepreneurship and promotion, retail math and management, sustainability, and technology.
You can specialize in different areas, from textiles and design to product management and merchandising.
As part of the Polytechnic Experience, you will gain hands-on experience that will develop your portfolio, whether it's an internship, the capstone course creating a fashion line, or helping to run an actual business.
You can join one of our clubs and participate in student competitions. You can also participate in our study abroad programs in London and Paris.
Our proximity to Los Angeles, a major hub in the global apparel industry, provides you with numerous opportunities to network with alumni, hear guest lecturers from industry professionals, intern with major brands, or take field trips to trade shows, manufacturing facilities, and corporate offices.
