Pumpkin Fest Returns Oct. 2

The Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Fest returns Oct. 2-31, weekends 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday-Friday, 3-8 p.m. To ensure everyone’s safety, advance tickets are required this year to limit the number of attendees and masks may be required for some activities. Walk-up admission will not be allowed.¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ Cal Poly Pomona will continue to follow Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and CPP Campus Guidelines. It is possible those may change, and more masking will be required.

FST Students Shine in Competitions

Two groups of Cal Poly Pomona food science and technology students won honors during recent regional and national product development competitions.

Students Take 2nd in National Food Competition

Haley Lam and Jacqueline Thach, who were advised by Assistant Professor David Edens of the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, were the runner ups in the 2021 RCA Student Culinology Competition, which was held virtually during the RCA+ conference, March 23-26.
