International Honor Society Welcomes 58 New Members and Celebrates Joining Organization's Elite

A total of 58 new members joined the Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, a premier international honor society for business students in spring 2022. To recognize the academic accomplishments of BGS members, a Banquet was held at the end of the spring semester during which the graduating BGS members were also awarded with the BGS stoles.

"College of Business Administration at CPP has once again been selected as a proud 'High Honors' chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma which is accorded to select business schools where academic excellence is highly valued," shared BGS Chapter Advisor Dr. Preeti Wadhwa.

She also mentioned, "BGS recognizes and invites the highest performing business students at the top 5-percent of business schools in the world.” Earning a "High Honors" distinction affords a chapter the ability to nominate for society-wide awards. Awarded Chapters are also regularly recognized by BGS Global HQ throughout the year, at a variety of conferences including the annual AACSB ICAM Conference.

There are currently more than 600 chapters of the academic honor society with 800,000 members internationally, all business students at AACSB-accredited programs.
