Come Thrive in the Top 25: U.S. News & World Report Names SGSB MBA Program a Top 25 Program for Minority Students

 The MBA program at the Singelyn Graduate School of Business at Cal Poly Pomona named top 25 Schools for Minorities by US News and World Report

Based on data collected by U.S. News & World Report, the Singelyn Graduate School of Business at Cal Poly Pomona's MBA program ranked as one of top 25 schools with the highest percentage of full-time students who self-identify as Asian, Black, Hispanic, Native American or Pacific Islander in 2022-23. In that period, the percentage of underrepresented minorities enrolled in the Singelyn Graduate School of Business MBA program was 69.7 percent.

Diversity continues to be a crucial building block for all companies for the future. In fact, research from McKinsey indicates that companies with a more diverse workforce exhibit greater cultural competency, productivity, and innovation than companies with a less diverse employee base, and many additional studies have yielded similar findings.

In addition to this latest ranking from U.S. News and World Report, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona was also ranked #2 among the “Top Public Schools in the West” in U.S. News & World Report 2024 Best Colleges Ranking (based on 15 measures of academic quality). The Wall Street Journal also hails Cal Poly Pomona as the top polytechnical university in the country for social mobility.

The CBA at Cal Poly Pomona is comprised of six departments, offering eight undergraduate options under the degree Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. The Singelyn Graduate School of Business was established in 2022 with transformative gift from alumni couple David and Ruth Singelyn and offers Masters degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Accountancy, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Digital Supply Chain Management, and Information Security.
