Tuition and Fees

Master of Science in Hospitality Management Tuition

Tuition and fees for the Master of Science in Hospitality Management are assessed per semester unit and are paid directly to Cal Poly Pomona. In addition to tuition, students are responsible for mandatory campus auxiliary fees. These costs support student services and resources throughout the academic year.

$800 per Semester Unit

The Master of Science in Hospitality Management program is also subject to campus auxiliary fees, including but not limited to student union, ASI, health center, and student success fees.
For the most current list of mandatory auxiliary fees, please refer to the university’s mandatory auxiliary fee schedule.

Cost of Attendance Elements

Tuition and mandatory fees represent only a portion of a student’s overall cost of attendance. The Cost of Attendance reflects the estimated average expenses for one academic year (Fall and Spring semesters) and may include:

  • Food and Housing
  • Transportation between the campus, the place of residence, and the place of work
  • Books, course materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Personal Expenses
  • Dependent Care Expenses (for those who have one or more dependents)
  • Direct Loan origination fees (for those who borrow a Federal Direct loan)

Visit our Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships website for a full listing of cost-of-attendance components, to view our current standard cost-of-attendance budgets, and to learn about the variety of resources that may help reduce your overall costs.

CSU Student Costs

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, the CSU must reserve the right, even after initial payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory systemwide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028 - 66028.6 of the Education Code).
