The College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) proudly welcomes Jacob Beyer as Program Coordinator for Workforce Innovation & Career Engagement (WICE).
Jacob supports WICE’s workforce innovation programs with expertise in student engagement, organizational effectiveness, and program management. He plays a key role in advancing CPGE’s mission to connect education with real-world impact by strengthening partnerships between employers, students, and the university community.
Before joining Cal Poly Pomona, Jacob spent three years in municipal government leading large-scale recreation and education programs. He trained and certified more than 200 lifeguards and developed a strong foundation in leadership, team development, and operational efficiency.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State University, Jacob earned a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Business. His academic and professional experiences reflect a deep commitment to student success and community engagement.
In his role at WICE, Jacob will help shape programs that build the bridge from education to employment, empowering learners to thrive in today’s evolving workforce.
