Challenge Your Thinking. Create Responsible AI.

Join our AI Challenge to explore how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly and creatively. This challenge invites students to think critically about AI’s impact on society while developing innovative ideas that promote ethical, human-centered technology. Participants will learn, experiment, and collaborate as they apply AI concepts to real-world problems.

Stereotyping in a Digital Age: Erin Beghli

This event takes place on Friday, 2/27. Join this Author Meets Critics conversation with Erin Beghli as she explores how stereotypes shape everyday human reasoning and influence the data, algorithms, and digital systems we rely on. The discussion invites reflection on how these assumptions are formed, reinforced, and challenged in today’s digital age. Lunch will be provided.

Happening on Thursday, 03/05 from 12 PM to 1 PM, Unapologetically You: Personal Branding From the Inside Out is a supportive space to reflect, reconnect, and gain clarity about your life and career path. Through guided self-reflection and journaling, you’ll explore authenticity, build confidence, and learn how to show up as your best self. Lunch will be served.

Grounded & Visible: Personal Branding Without Burnout

On Thursday, 03/19 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Grounded & Visible: Personal Branding Without Burnout explores how to build a personal brand that honors mental health while showing up confidently and authentically online. Featuring Dr. Gyasmine George-Williams, this conversation examines athlete activism, media narratives, and intersectional justice through insights from her work and the SportsCrit Lab podcast, highlighting how race shapes stories on and off the field. Lunch provided.

Plant-Based Cookbook: A SIRG-Funded Digital Humanities Zine

The Digital Humanities project, created by Dr. Vasquez with her research team and student researchers. Students produced a digital zine with recipes from Central American, Iraqi, and African American cuisines, using pea protein made with extrusion technology at CPP labs.
