Mai Narasaki-Jara

Dr. Mai joined California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in August 2020 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology & Health Promotion, College of Science. She has 20 years of training and teaching experience in Adapted Physical Activity (APA), Adapted Aquatic Therapy serving University community members with various disabilities and training Kinesiology students in APA.

She currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Movement Disabilities, Adapted Physical Education, and Pedagogy. 

Dr. Mai's specialization is in the area of Service-Learning with focus on attitudes towards people with disabilities, self-efficacy, and quality of life.
