Students must read and agree to the new Bronco Community Care Expectations prior to move-in.

COVID Vaccination & Testing Requirements

As you plan your return to campus, it is essential that you monitor your symptoms prior to arriving.  If you are experiencing any symptoms, do NOT come to campus and notify UHS of your delayed move in.

All guest assisting with move-in must also test 24 hours before arriving to the campus and should be prepared to show negative results upon request.

In compliance with Cal Poly Pomona's vaccination requirements, residents should have successfully completed one of the following: (1) verified their vaccination status through the Health Services Portal OR (2) obtained an approved vaccination exemption prior to move-in.

Residents are required that you test within 24 hours prior to arriving to campus. Please take a photo of the test with your name, Bronco ID, and date included in the picture. Students that do not have proof of a negative test result will be provided a test the day of move-in.  Students will need to take the test prior to checking into their space and may expect longer wait times at check in.  Students that test positive will not be allowed to move into their space.  So, please make sure that you are monitoring your health prior to arriving on campus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below you’ll find information on what to bring depending on the community you will be living in.

Students who are not offered a space in housing during the initial round of assignments will be placed on a waitlist, and Housing will use this list to backfill any cancellations throughout summer into the fall semester.

Housing Fees, including the $450 initial payment, are fully refundable prior to the following cancellation deadlines:

Students with a housing assignment can cancel their space through their Housing Portal at least 30 days prior to the beginning of fall move-in without any financial penalty. The cancellation deadline for the 2022/2023 License Agreement is July 11, 2022.

Assigned students that cancel after the deadline will forfeit their $450 initial payment.

Students on the housing waitlist can cancel their housing application at any time and receive a full refund of their initial payment.

Students wanting to cancel AFTER they have moved in must petition to cancel and if approved will be responsible for 30 days of fees after check-out.

Students who are no longer interested in Fall housing but are still interested in spring housing, are asked to update their application instead of canceling.

If a student is assigned a space for Fall 2022, they can cancel until July 11, 2022 without any financial penalty. Students on the waitlist and/or those interested in a Spring assignment only may cancel at any time and will not be charged. To cancel, visit the housing portal.

While not guaranteed, students can create roommate groups through their Housing Portal.

To request a roommate, on the application summary page of the application there will be a link to Create/Manage Roommates Groups. You can create a roommate group, then add students to your group by searching for their Bronco ID number. You will be able to add roommates who have also submitted their application and who are NOT in a roommate group already. If you would like to be roommates with someone who is already in a roommate group, you will need to ask them to add you to their group. Changes to Roommate Groups will close once the assignment process for students has begun. Please see your application confirmation email for the date when Roommate Groups closes. Living with your roommate group is not guaranteed.

Yes, all residents must have a meal plan. Campus dining facilities will be adjusting their occupancy, process, and hours to safely accommodate the dining needs of our residents.
