Why Award a Digital Badge?

Earning digital badges provides a convenient way for employers to verify technical or marketable skills and knowledge acquired through Cal Poly Pomona’s courses or programs. This allows faculty and staff to fully prepare and invest in their students’ future careers prior to graduation. Students can build a set of digital credentials to demonstrate their learning. By awarding digital badges, faculty and staff help students develop their professional profile to accelerate their career.

Step 1 
Fill out any of our forms based on your requirements.
(All three forms found in the previous section.) 

Step 2
Align the digital badge with your syllabus/program, and create the badge on Badgr. 

Step 3
Begin awarding your badge directly through Badgr or integrate it with your Canvas course.
