Conferencing Options

Getting Started

  1. Room Sizes

Around the campus you'll find anything from small office-sized conferencing spaces, to larger multi-purpose environments that need to be flexible. This is where you should start to get a good sense of the limitations inherent to a space.

  2. Collaboration Structure

How do you run your departments meetings? Does one person usually take the lead and present on progress, goals, and other outcomes; or are your meetings collaborative, where everyone participates in the meeting presenting their finding equally amongst the group? Is it for a larger committee organization, do your meetings operate in a hybrid structure, or do you use the space for a mix of business and events?

  3. Technology and Assets

Once you've established a foundational image for a space, the next part is filling it up with the tech to leverage your vision for the space. Would you like to control everything from a single location? Do you need physical or wireless connections for personal devices? Maybe you need the furniture to be modular so you can rearrange the space at a moments notice.
