Preparing for an AV Request

Who can make AV requests?

Anyone can request a consultation; however, it is important to note that final approval for any project must go through the respective owner of a particular space which will be a College Dean along with Academic Affairs or a Department VP.

Ownership and Approvers

The distinction between these two is required as it will determine what funding options are available, and who can ultimately approve the project. The relevant college and Academic Affairs approve academic spaces, while the relevant department approves Non-Academic spaces. If you request a combination of academic and non-academic spaces, please submit separate requests for each type.

For academic room modifications, please consult with your Department Chair, Associate Dean, and/or your Dean first before going through Academic Resources to obtain approval to modify the space. Contact Academic Resources ar@cpp.edu for more information on approving classroom projects.

Non-academic room modifications are approved by your Division’s VP or Authorized Account Signer.
