Freshmen Parent and Family Program

Program Dates

You can view the dates for Freshmen Orientation programs here. The Freshmen Parent, Family, and Guest program takes place on the first day of the student's program. There are no sessions/tours/meals on the second day.

What Will I Do?

At the Parent/Family Program you will receive presentations/workshops about:

  • Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Information
  • Police and Campus Safety
  • Financial Aid and Cashiering Services
  • Keeping your Student On Track to Graduate
  • Current Parent and Administrator Panel
  • Student Panel
  • Meeting with your student's Academic College
  • Optional: Housing and Campus Tour

What Will I Receive?

  • Campus Tour
  • Parent Resource Guide
  • Morning refreshments and lunch
  • Campus Bookstore visit


To be determined. Cost is per person above the age of 12 and you must register in advance. Each student can invite up to two guests. Cost includes meals and materials. 


Freshmen Parents, Family, and Guests will attend Day One of the Freshmen Orientation program.
