Archambault Named ARI Campus Coordinator

Steve Archambault

The Huntley College of Agriculture has named Steve Archambault as its new campus coordinator for the California State University Agricultural Research Institute program (ARI).

Archambault, an assistant professor of agribusiness and food industry management, will administer and oversee ARI-funded research projects on the Cal Poly Pomona campus.

He came to Cal Poly Pomona in fall quarter 2016 from New Mexico State, where he was an assistant professor of agricultural economics and agricultural business.

Archambault takes the place of Professor Shelton Murinda, who has taken on the responsibilities as interim chair of the Department of Animal & Veterinary Sciences.

ARI is a diversified, multi-campus applied research program focused on high-priority issues facing California agriculture. It aims to help policymakers make informed decisions to ensure the sustainability and preservation of agriculture and natural resources.
