Associate Dean Lisa Kessler and Broc Sandelin, professor and chair of the Department of Animal & Veterinary Sciences, welcomed a delegation from a Chinese college to campus in early December.

The delegation was from the Jiangsu agricultural-animal husbandry vocational college.

The meeting was to discuss potential cooperative opportunities with the Huntley College of Agriculture, including faculty development programs, visiting scholars, and short-term summer programs for Chinese students.

Professor Sadiq Shah, Cal Poly Pomona’s associate vice president for research, innovation, and economic development, also met with the delegation.

The visit was arranged through the College of the Extended University’s Global Education Institute.
