About K-12 School Group Tours
School Tours are available for groups of 40 to 140 students. Our own interpreters lead walking tours with interactive activity stations on select Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM. Our student interpreters are University students that are engaged in a community service-learning class, BIO 488S, Interpretation of Science. School tours are conducted outdoors and involve some walking on uneven pathways. Tours are conducted rain or shine. Please advise students and adults to dress appropriately and bring drinking water. Please notify us of any access and functional needs. School tours visit five areas of BioTrek including the Rainforest Learning Center, Rainforest Animals Station, Biodiversity Conservation Museum, Ethnobotany Garden, and Mesozoic Garden.
