Executive Mentor Program

Barry Hirschfeld, Class of '64

Sponsored by A. Barry Hirschfeld, Class of '64

About the Program

An executive vice president for a major real estate firm. A partner in one of California’s largest accounting practices. A serial entrepreneur that has co-founded and sold a number of highly successful start-ups. A CEO of a large newspaper conglomerate whose connections extend far across the country.

These four examples and many other Cal Poly Pomona alumni are among the accomplished, successful professionals volunteering to mentor current CBA students. All have a common interest: they are committed to helping create leaders equipped to thrive within the complexities of business today. All it takes is a little time to develop a friendship that can have a lasting impact!
What is the Executive Mentor Program?

The Mentor Program is an academic year program (Fall 2016 through Spring 2017), designed to provide junior and senior level business students with an invaluable opportunity for personal and professional development through the support of a mentor. The objective of the program is to merge the experiences inside and outside of the classroom in order to help students make a more smooth transition from an academic environment to the world of work.

The Executive Mentor Program is made possible with the support of CBA  distinguished alumnus A. Barry Hirschfeld.
