The International Business and Marketing Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, invites applications from qualified professionals to join our part-time lecturer pool. We are especially interested in individuals who are qualified to teach:

  • Marketing the Movies
  • Events Marketing
  • Market Analysis and Control
  • Marketing Research

Minimum qualifications:

  • Appropriate master’s degree
  • Relevant professional experience 

Preferred qualifications:

  • ABD or Ph.D. 
  • College-level teaching experience
  • Extensive industry experience
    Applicants whose work incorporates a global perspective and a demonstrated commitment to diversity in higher education 

Appointments: Part-time, temporary lecturer appointments are usually made for one academic quarter only (approximately 11 weeks at fractions usually ranging from 4/15 to 12/15 of full time—usually one to three classes; multiple quarter appointments are sometimes possible). Incumbents may be reappointed to subsequent quarters contingent upon funding and favorable performance evaluations.

Placement into a range is based on qualifications and experience. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
