VITA Program Suspended Until April

Due to COVID-19, VITA has been suspended until at least April 3. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
Specially trained accounting students will offer complimentary tax preparation at a dozen locations throughout the San Gabriel Valley to qualifying households with an income less than $55,000.
Cal Poly Pomona’s College of Business Administration, in partnership with Internal Revenue Service, will offer more than 50 clinics as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. The Saturday clinics serve clients on a walk-in basis and run from Feb. 1 to April 11.
New clinics in Claremont and Pomona expand the reach of a VITA program that prepared more than 500 returns for local community members in 2019. They join popular locations like the Pomona Library, Pomona Boys and Girls Club and West Covina Library staffed by students recently completing a semester of rigorous coaching.
