Technology and Operations Management

Interview with Erinn Dockins

Erinn Dockins Grad Student Spotlight

April 2022

My name is Erinn Dockins, and I am a current student in the MSBA program as well as working full time at Northrop Grumman as a Business Analyst. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree from Cal Poly Pomona in 2019 with a major in Technology and Operations Management and a minor in Economics. I chose CPP’s MSBA program over other programs because It was much more technically focused than a standard MBA but didn’t require an undergraduate degree in Computer Science to qualify. As a business student who was looking to develop into a more technical role, the MSBA program became the perfect fit.
The opportunity to network and build meaningful relationships was by far the most valuable takeaway from the MSBA program. Many of my peers and professors are also leading industry professionals in various fields. Which opened my eyes to many opportunities in the field of business analytics that I had never considered before and provided me with a wealth of insights that had a significant impact on my career development.
Maintaining my career while pursuing my degree was my top priority, and the MSBA program offered a flexible and supportive learning environment that allowed me to thrive both in my career and education.
