Liberal Studies Student Named Valedictorian and McPhee Scholar for the Class of 2022

Fabiola Del villar, a liberal studies major, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2022 and will receive the McPhee Scholar Award during CEIS Commencement on Friday, May 20.

Throughout her time at Cal Poly Pomona, she has served as both vice president and treasurer of the Liberal Studies Club and worked as a CEIS orientation leader during summer 2021. Following graduation, Fabiola hopes to begin a multiple subject teaching credential program and pursue her two biggest passions: teaching and writing.
