EFL students made an impressive showing at the 2015 SCCUR, held November 21st, at Harvey Mudd College. Six EFL students gave a total of four oral presentations at the event.

Presentations included three individual paper presentations from English, and a joint presentation from Spanish.

The English students, mentored by Dr. Dewey Hall, included Alison de Almeida, "A Song for St. Cecilia’s Day: A Song of Science and Religion”; Sana Denaro, “The History of the African Prince, Oroonoko”; and Jessica Santos: “A Window into Women in the Feline Form”.

The Spanish students, mentored by Dr. Marta Albalá Pelegrín, included Karla Ayala, Mecir Ureta and Violeta Villagomez presenting on “Defining a Dreamer: Activism and Visual Representations after DACA in Southern California”.

Congratulations to all involved!
