In Memoriam: Professor Emeritus Stanley J. Cook
Professor Stan Cook, who served Cal Poly Pomona from 1969 to 1998, died at his home on April 30, 2016. Much-loved by his students, Dr. Cook was a professor of linguistics in the English and Foreign Languages Department. He served the campus in other capacities as well, including as Chair of the Academic Senate, and as Director of Academic Programs. This tribute was prepared by Professor Emeritus Richard W. Suter.
