Dr. Marc Scarcelli delivers talk on Islamophobia at CPP's TEDx Conference

On April 7, 2016, Professor Marc Scarcelli was invited to speak at our university's TEDxCPP Conference. TEDxCPP stems from the university's desire to honor an establishment that represents the same ideals that the TED organization stands for: growth, innovation, and progress. TEDxCPP hopes to inspire our academic community, propelling both our students and university towards further pursuits of greatness. TEDxCPP has put Dr. Scarcelli's talk, titled "The Dangers of Islamophobia" on YouTube:

Marc Scarcelli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Cal Poly Pomona. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis, his B.A. from Purdue University, and he previously taught at both Ohio University and Bowdoin College. Dr. Scarcelli teaches international relations and comparative politics, offering courses on a broad range of security topics, including war, terrorism, and ethnic conflict, among others.

Our department has a history of both students and faculty presenting their experiences and work at TED Conferences around the country:
