How to Join the Hatchery

Application

To apply, fill out an application that describes your:

  • Team (can be an individual)
  • Idea and why it's innovative
  • Target community
  • Your plan for putting your idea into action

Eligibility

  • Masters and doctoral thesis and citations are not eligible for the Project Hatchery. 
  • Student's competitions are not eligible for the Project Hatchery. 

*While the Hatchery is open to every student, there are some restrictions on projects. If a team that applies has only graduating seniors, they must be approved for Phase 3 by the beginning of the last semester they are going to be on campus. Please see our handbook for details.

What to do once you've applied

Please keep an eye on your email as a confirmation email will be sent within one day after you submit your application. This email has the next steps (pretest survey and a team action plan meeting) that you must take to continue on your application process. Please allow for 5-10 business days to receive a response regarding your status
