How to Apply

Students must meet eligibility requirements to participate in the Reading, Advising, & Mentoring Program (RAMP). To apply, complete the following three steps: 

1. Program Application
2. Income Verification Form (IVF)
   • To complete the IVF, you will need the following information:
     • Prior year taxable income for either your parents/guardian (if you are considered to be dependent student on the FAFSA) OR yourself (if you are considered independent). Taxable income can be found on Line 15 of IRS Form 1040.
     • Size of family unit
     • Signature from either a parent/guardian (if dependent student) or yourself (if independent)
3. Reading Assessment (once we receive your application and IVF and determine that you are eligible for the program, a staff member will contact you to schedule your assessment)

The program application and IVF require you to provide information that may not be readily available (such as tax information). With the application, you won't be able to save and resume later; with the IVF, you can save and resume the form within two weeks.

Once you are accepted to RAMP, you are a participant until you graduate (or leave the university). We ask that you complete the Participant Update form once per academic year.
