New faculty member, Dr. Robert Nyenhuis, joins the department

Robert NyenhuisNew faculty member, Dr. Robert Nyenhuis, who earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, irvine, joins the Department of Poltiical Science as a tenure-track faculty member this fall. Last year, Dr. Nyenhuis served as a lecturer for our department, teaching Latin American Government and Politics and Introduction to American Government. Dr. Nyenhuis' research includes a forthcoming book manuscript that explores why Latin American voters vote for populist presidential candidates. His research is forthcoming in the Bolivian Research Review and a volume on Electoral Courts in Latin America. This fall, he is teaching American Foreign Policy and Latin American Government.
